The initial documents of
the archives
have been enriched and completed by catalogs, works, publications,
articles,and
the testimonies which Christian Parisot has been able to collect thanks
to his research work and the collaboration of numerous institutions.
Since their foundation, the
"Archives LégalesAmedeo
Modigliani" have been collecting and putting together the historical
and
critical contributions from around the world.
Special effort is given to the
systematic
registration of the works, particularly to the attribution of the
numerous
drawings, often preparatory work for paintings, in order to discover
their
origins and the identity of the models.
In Leghorn, the "Archives
Légales
Amedeo Modigliani" expect to realize the merited restoration,
involvement
in cultural events and the amplification of the programs that the
artist's
house of birth deserves.
Parallel to the constant work
of editing
and updating of the Catalogue Raisonné,

Modigliani" are constantly working for the consolidation of the Italian
and French cultural project at the international level:
